November Speaker
Beverly Breakstone, Summit County Assessor’s office will be the speaker. She writes:

“So who is the Assessor? I know I get a notice of value every two years but how do they determine the value of my property? How are the taxes determined? What are my appeal rights if I don’t feel my value is right… and what is happening to property values since the last valuation? All this and everything you ever wanted to know about your County Assessor are presented in an interesting and fun PowerPoint presentation.”

——Mental Health Services——

Since depression is one of the most common illnesses affecting 19 million Americans per year and at least 1 in 3 of Care Clinic’s patients. Summit County residents identified improving access to mental health services as the county’s #1 health priority. Care Clinic is at the forefront in ensuring access to compassionate and effective mental health care.

The medical staff collaborates with on-site counselors to integrate mental health services. This includes screening for depression and anxiety for all medical patients and immediate, in-person referrals for people in need.
